While I would like to keep costs minimal, it makes sense that if I'm going to go through the trouble of opening the iMac up to install the SATA SSD, I might as well go ahead and update the flash/SSD storage as well. The OS won't fit on it by itself, maybe a couple apps will, but seems like it's too small to really be of use. The only problem with swapping out the HDD for one of the above is that I'll have the 24GB blade (from the fusion drive) just chilling there with no real reason for use.
